Kia Ora Leabank Community.

As usual the sands beneath us keep shifting and we keep moving with it. Our plans keep evolving as they take into consideration the current changes around us. We are doing the best we can and acknowledge the frustrations we are all feeling. While it is not ideal to not be teaching from a distance during this current Alert Level, we simply have no choice.

Online Distance learning for term 4 will begin Tuesday 19th October.
Teachers will not be online tomorrow as they will be preparing hard packs for our students.

Hard Packs for your child can be collected from school from Tuesday 19th October to Thursday 21st October between 9.00am and 12.00pm.

Please send 1 adult from your household, remember to scan or sign in and to wear a mask.

We understand and recognise the lockdown fatigue we are all experiencing together. We acknowledge the difficulties our families are facing and the struggles our children are facing. Please remember that we are all in this together and we will all get through this together. We just need to keep taking it one day at a time. There will be an end eventually and we will all be here with you when that happens.

We miss our students terribly and are so hopeful we can all return as soon as possible. We look forward to some further guidance after the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday.

Kia maia, kia kaha, kia manawanui, be brave, be strong, be steadfast.
